D.I.Y. Ecommerce -
Planning & theory of how to make money online
Welcome to D.I.Y E-commerce. Just a few years before I started putting together this web site, the idea of having my own business on the Internet was just a far off dream. When I opened my first web store it took 6 weeks of hard slog just to get it open and trading. It looked rubbish but it made money! Depending on your current technical level and of course how much work you do each week; you could take a longer or shorter time and have a slightly better or slightly worse end product.
The point is, you CAN have your own ecommerce store, very cheaply or for free, by following the guides on this web site or buying our guide and resource disc.
It is not all going to be easy. There are going to be tough choices and challenging tasks. But you will have guidance and support throughout!
What I think is fascinating however, is that once I had solved all the problems of opening a shop; which I do for you in this guide, my second shop was conceived, designed, built, opened and received its first sale all within the space of a week! Also, if I do say so myself, looked quite cool as well. And not only that, but once my little empire was up and running the actual time commitment involved in the day to day running is a very small amount of packing and customer service each day.
I am now my own boss. I am not a millionaire or anything like that but I am very happy with my work, my income is constantly rising, I have loads of extra time with my family, I don't need a job and if I stopped working today, the money would keep coming in without me!
Now all this is great but what about the financial risk I hear you say? Well the only risk I took was small initial stock holding of my chosen products, nominal web hosting fees and other small costs like packing materials, a few pounds to get some professional images and that's about it!
I hope you find this guide more than just useful. I hope it helps you launch your web empire and change your life!
Now compare a web business to a conventional one.
