Google Adwords optimisation

It would be easy to spend 8 hours a day continually optimising your campaign. Some big companies do! But you are doing this DIY. Set a time limit that you spend on Adwords. Just make sure you do a little bit of work on all the following tasks each time. Over time you will expand, hone and refine your campaign.

  • Reduce/Remove bids on keywords/phrases that don't generate much interest (based on average page views) from Analytics. (Or conversion tracking if you have it)
  • Consider Increasing bids on keywords/phrases that generate a lot of interest.
  • Find and try new keywords ALL THE TIME!!
